i wonder if this is a coniferous or deciduous tree. normally, i would classify this as a coniferous tree, case closed, yet i suspect this tree lacks the ability to produce cones, thus nullifying it's classification as a coniferous tree. perhaps i shall further investigate by performing a mathematical equation to determine the probability of both a coniferous and deciduous growing in my living room, followed by my eating of this branch.
