Ugh.

Just wanted to let you all know... I'm starting to feel pregnant. Turns out you get fat a lot quicker the second time around. Your body just remembers fatness a lot better than skinniness. I officially have Medicaid now, so I will be getting a doctor's appointment hopefully sometime next week. Yep, I'm in my second trimester and still haven't seen a doctor. For all I know, I could be carrying octuplets, and from the way my belly's protruding right now (I guess I did have a rather large Sunday lunch, too...) I wouldn't doubt it!

Keep voting on whether or not I should find out the sex of the baby, but an awful lot of you are going to have to vote no to outweigh Josh's vote. Just to let you know.

Well BethiBaby, at the risk of blowing my stalker cover, I will post a vote. Don't do it! That goes for you too, Josh. Second kids sometimes seem like an afterthought ... so one way to enhance the excitement of #2 Mini Zapf would be to keep its gender a surprise:) Plus, that way you would have had both options exercised, so if you ever have another child, you would know from experience which scenario you prefer:)

Just my thoughts. I am Joel's friend. Bye.

I like Whitney's reasoning, of trying both ways to see which option you like better for babies #3, #4, #5, etc. ;-)

Besides, then we get to vote on a girl name AND a boy name! That sounds like fun. I vote that the middle name of "Taylor" be given to the baby no matter what gender he/she is. ;-)

Hehe. "Taylor" has already come up in the name discussion. What do you think of "Benjamin Taylor"? Sounds like a president in the making! And our other favorite right now is "Jacob Bentley". "Bentley" is a family name on Josh's side. It's actually his great-grandma's (who's still living!!) last name. Can you tell we're thinking boy? :-D

as far as a name...i VOTE FOR the name PEDRO.

as far a for learning the gender...well let me tell you a little story. once upon a time, about 1 year and 2 months ago, i knew this girl who was pregnant, and she found out that she was going to have a baby girl...so she went out and bought some girl clothes and had a name picked out and everything, and then...the big day came. the baby was coming and everyone was so excited for the little girl to be born, except something unexpected happened that day. the little girl, was actually a little boy. the doctor was wrong, and all the girl clothes they had bought seemed pretty ridiculous.

so i tell you this story as to say this...don't find out from the doctor. they don't know anything. if you really want to know the gender, i'll tell you. need i remind you of the little dream i had about olivia prior to her birth.
